Fish is a damn good player. Wish that guy would have gotten in shape about 6 years before he did.

She's super pissed that Ana is prettier than her.

Federer on his back issue today:

quote:

"Yeah, I mean, I felt the back going the beginning of the first set, and then I played on it maybe three, four games. I asked for the trainer, the doctor to come out to just talk about it. So I decided to have treatment inside.... [H]onestly I'm not too worried. I've had bad backs over the years. I've been around. They go as quick as they came."

I'm not buying that at all. Guy will be lucky to make the semi, where he'll catch a beat down

I'm not either. And if Fed believes a single word of what he said then he is even more confident than I thought.

Anybody watching this?

They've been delayed on all courts but the roof court for some time. Any signs of the rain letting up?

With Nadal being knocked out Fish has a very good shot to make the semis if he can finish off Tsonga.

He could definitely have it a lot worse. Maybe it will be him and Baker.

Murray's draw in this tournament has just been BRUTAL. He'll probably finish off Cilic, but then he gets the winner of Ferrer/Delpo. That's a seriously rough draw.

Roddick is out.

Top half of draw:

Djokovic is playing right now and is cruising. He'll get the winner of Gasquet/Mayer, and he'll beat the crap out of either.

Federer won today and he will play Youzhny. He would crush Youzhny under most any circumstance, but he is having back problems. If his back is fine, he should cruise into the semis, but I'm nto sure it's fine.

Bottom half of draw:
Murray is playing Cilic right now, and is up (they're in a rain delay). If he finishes Cilic off as I suspect he will, he'll get the winner of David Ferrer and Juan Martin Delpo.

I suspect it'll be Murray vs. Delpo, and that's gonna a really good match. Take your pick on that one.

Tsonga and Fish are playing right now. Fish won the first set. I think this match will likely go 5 sets. The winner will get either Brian Baker or Kohlschreiber. I'm really really hoping Brian Baker will win. He's an american -- from nashville -- and he is back on the tour after a brutal run of injuries. But we'll see. Should be a tight match.

He is in Nadal's draw. If he gets to the semis he'll see Tsonga or one of Fish/Kohlschreiber/Baker

I would like to see Murray get to the final just to see if he could get it done in front of the home crowd. FED he could beat. Novak would slice and dice him.

If Murray is to win a slam it will have to be against someone other than the big 3. He is too much of a headcase.

I don't think that Murray has an aggressive enough game to beat a healthy Fed on grass. That's just my opinion though.

If he does make the final the crowd will be insane. It's been a long, long time since there's been a Brit winner (I guess Murray would count)

I do want to see Murray get a major. He really is a legitimately great tennis player playing in a very unfortunate era.

I think he gets Djoker if he gets to the finals. Djoker would be favored, of course, but I wouldn't count Murray out. He nearly beat Djoker in the Aussie Open semis.

Healthy and in top form. Neither of which appear to be true at present.

This is why I feel awful for Roddick when it comes to his reputation on grass.

He would have 4 Wimbledon titles if he wasn't playing in the same time period as the best grass court player of all time.
