JMDP is a vastly superior player, but something seems off with him. Why is he inexplicably dropping a set each match?
To the extent it's just that JMDP is just getting used to a surface that is his least familiar and least favorite , and that he'll get better with each match, then it's JMDP in a new york minute.

I believe, in the last few years, they've only allowed colored headbands/armbands/bandanas.
