Such a retard argument. Muah they don’t absolutely hack the shite out of people any more.

Lebron is physical freak I don’t think laimbeer would want to be on the arse end of a lebron cheap shot

I don't care about the debate on what generation was more physical or not. I just roll my eyes when someone says certain players couldn't play a more physical style of play. To think any player today couldn't adapt to different rules is just insane.

Muggsy Bouges, John Stockton, Jason Kidd etc... played during the prime "physical" decade and did just fine.
They could play in today's game and be great too. Lebron, Steph, and Harden would adapt and play damn good in any generation.

I'm not saying that today's guys wouldn't survive in the 80's or 90's, but they let things happen to superstars then that they don't let happen today

This.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t think those players mentioned would still be elite in any era, it’s just that they wouldn’t get away with what they get away with now. If you breathe on Harden in the lane, it’s a foul. If you wink at him while he’s shooting a 3, it’s a foul. If you breathe while he’s behind the arc, he’ll jump into the path of your breath and throw his arms in the air and he’s getting 3 free throws.

The main reason for the lack of physicality is the reliance on the 3 and the lack of desire for offensive rebounds. When the ball is in the air, everyone on offense has already switched to defense and is running back the other way.

We found the retard in this thread. It amazes me that there are people who think a 6'8 260 pound freight train would be scared of some physical play.

PLEASE PLEASE watch the gifs in this thread on Twitter. The comments are hilarious too but it really shows that "tough" 80/90s "defense" that Jordan had to get through!

Thee is absolutely no reason for him to be scared, nobody plays defense. Thats Lebrons era, go to the rim and dunk or kick it out for a 3, exciting stuff.
