Nats: Harper and Murphy are gone, and, yeah, you still have Sherzer, Strausburg, Corbin, Rendon, Turner, et al, but, remember, you've never won a playoff series in your short existence and you're not going to start now.

Phillies: Your lineup is a bunch of .240 hitters who can't field their positions and your pitching staff pales in comparison to Washington's and New York's. I hope those contracts were worth it!

Marlins:

Braves: Julio Teheran is your opening day starter

Pete Alonso, Jacob deGrom, Mike Conforto, Jeff McNeil, Noah Syndergaard, Zach Wheeler, and Edwin Diaz are about to take a giant steaming dump on the rest of the division. Be warned.

We were 77-85; get it right!

But 2019 is a new year and the 2019 Mets are a very different team from the 2018 Mets.

The Barves are certainly the fourth best team on paper in the division, but explicitly saying that in the OP would have been too lazy a hook!

No one is afraid of Julio Teheran and the Braves, either.

Like I said, fourth best team in the division.

Game isn't played on paper. Braves are the defending division champs.

The Mets are always the Mets. Second fiddle in New York and grade A chokers.

Besides, Julio is opening day starter because of injuries. Not because he's the best on the staff. You're being a retard by ignoring that.

You're the defending champs but you also did almost nothing to improve your team while the three other contenders went out and acquired big pieces.

The Mets are the last team in the division to win a playoff series so I'm not really sure who's been choking lately, but whatever, I'll let you hang on to the reputation of the 2007 Mets.

And, yeah, Teheran is starting today because of injuries, but Folty missing most of April is a huge blow in a competitive division, and the Braves already have a much worse rotation than the Nats and Mets.

The Braves are fourth in Vegas odds to win the division. Vegas knows what's up most of the time.

Everyone but the nats has a world series since the Mets won in 1986.

2018 Vegas win total:

quote:

Atlanta Braves
Over 74 ½ Wins -110
Under 74 ½ Wins -110

They won 90 games.

The braves will not finish worse than 3rd. Book it.

The Mets GTFO...

The Nats are taking this division. Pretty Boy and his hero throws are gone.

Juan Soto will fight off the Sophomore year slump.

Rendon is in a contract year.

Dozier is playing for a contract.

Oh, the Mets ...

Nats are winning the division and a playoff series this year. Best believe. No real pressure on the team this year and Harper is Phillys problem now. Nats STACKEDDD NL EAST frickKKED

DC fans are another level of spite when a key player leaves. First it was cousins, now it's Bryce. Lol at acting like Bryce wasn't hands down your best player.

Of all the players on the Nats to highlight, you choose Dozier? He's mediocre as frick, no different than Todd Frazier

The Nats are probably the best team on paper but this is the Mets' year
