It’s amazing that Bowie even stayed in as long as he did in the league with his knees. They were already shot his last year at UK. Still a great player though.

He wanted out too. I wonder if he'll admit to it on here.

Apparently, he has this idea of a 7-year rule, where he believes that players tune out their coach at the 7 year mark. He coached 9 years in Chicago but he said it was time. He coached 6 years in LA first time around, took a break, then coached 6 more years.

Soccer coach Pep Guardiola, who is widely considered one of the best managers ever, has the same mindset. He doesn't stay at one club for more than 3-4 years.
