The Lakers have imploded. 42 points is the largest margin of defeat in LeBron's career. His teammates have quit on him and the fans are heckling them with embarrassing chants.

Meanwhile, LeBron sits alone on the end of the bench, contemplating his biggest mistake since "The Decision." Only this time, the end result isn't going to be joining up with two all star players to form a superteam.

Pride comes before the fall, LeBron.

No one could have seen this coming after LeBron’s decision last summer.

A lot of people have forgotten before that stunt he was pretty much universally loved the way MJ was.

His Q rating imploded after that day and it's never recovered. Sure he still has a legion of fanboys but he has an equally large, if not larger, group of people who have hated his guts since that day.

He's probably got more haters and people who root against him than any "superstar" in the NBA has ever had and a huge part of it is to do that grandstanding fiasco.

It’s been well known lots of players don’t want to play with him

It’s sad he has to beg people to come to LA of all fricking places

So now he is trying to use his best friends sports agency to strong arm what he wants

It’s sad and not a good look for his legacy

It's strange because he is mainly a good dude. He's just a bit of a bit of a pussy and it's lame the way his clown friends operate.

Lakers may end up better in the long run getting who they want in free agency, but it's going to be ugly until they get those guys.

I’m finding this hilarious. I mean what a perfect night going into the trade deadline for the Pels. The Lakers assets the media keeps insisting we should take got blown out by an Oladipo-less Pacers team on a SEGABABA. In a “what have you done for me lately” society with short term memory bias, this is just beautiful. Any idiots shilling the Lakers package now will get run over by everyone that isn’t a Lakers fan on Twitter.

Yeah I’m not picking up what OP is putting down tbh. Whatever in the world will the Lakers do with all this cap space they’ve preserved since Lebron signed

Lebron is a douche but that picture is ridiculous. Isn’t the only reason he’s sitting alone because the end of the bench is in for garbage time?

I never understood why Lebron didn't stay in the East and sign with the Sixers. He'd have two young All Stars and coast to the Finals instead of battling for an 8th seed with minimal talent. They'd carry him in his old years that are coming.

He didn't make this move for basketball reasons. That's fairly obvious.
