Honestly, yeah. It pisses me off that people truly consider a team like VCU or Butler better than ND or OSU just because they won four games in a row at the end of the season instead of two, when the other 30+ games, they were far inferior. ND went 2-0 against UCONN, including a win on the road with the Big East Player of the Year playing only 27 minuts due to foul trouble/fouling out. I think it's perfectly fair to think the Irish were better.

Ohio State would have likely beat any team, except maybe Kansas (not sure who win that) if they played a series.

Its not that March Madness is dumb. I just DON'T think you understand how it works. AND If OSU or ND were THAT good they would have found a way to get to the Final four. BUT.................

OSU for sure could have. Heck, give Kansas a certain draw, have a few upsets to clear their path of difficult opponents before they have to play them and maybe just maybe...

They went on a pretty damn good 4 game run, but there was nothing before that to suggest they were anything more than a bubble team at best.
They didn't even dominate the weak conference they were in.

Anyway, my point being before this thread derailed, you can't use how one team does (especially in a format like March Madness) to determine how good a conference is. The earlier post said that the SEC was better than the Big Ten because a team made the Final Four and no Big Ten team did. That would be like saying the Horizon League was the second best conference in the country this year.
