He was one of the ones that the broadcast was like “he’s such a safe pick, worst case scenario he starts at guard for you for the next ten years”

Aside from the helmet toss, he was a really solid OG. Met him at the House of Blues in 2001 before a Slayer show - really nice dude.

I think Moss only took it out on the Cowboys for not being picked

I think the cowboys were where he wanted to go and Jerry made him feel like they were going to pick him pre draft which is why he was always so pissy at them afterwards

Every team outside of the Vikings has that "what if" scenario with Moss but two most legitimate would be Cowboys and Packers (post-release from OAK)

He didn't cut my saints much slack in that 2nd round playoff game. Pretty sure he was around 200 yards on not very many catches but they were all tds

Aaron Curry

The 2009 draft might have the worst Top 10 picks of all time. Look at this run down:

Detroit Lions Matthew Stafford † QB Georgia SEC
1 2 St. Louis Rams Jason Smith OT Baylor Big 12
1 3 Kansas City Chiefs Tyson Jackson DE LSU SEC
1 4 Seattle Seahawks Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest ACC
1 5 New York Jets Mark Sanchez QB USC Pac-10 from Cleveland [R1 - 1]
1 6 Cincinnati Bengals Andre Smith OT Alabama SEC
1 7 Oakland Raiders Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland ACC
1 8 Jacksonville Jaguars Eugene Monroe OT Virginia ACC
1 9 Green Bay Packers B. J. Raji † DT Boston College ACC
1 10 San Francisco 49ers Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech

2 out of the first 5 picks were out of football in less than 4 years.

It’s ok. Let’s just forget Jonathan Sullivan if we’re talking hype.

But that Top 10 is awful from beginning to end. Stafford should have been better than he was. He just needed a competent coach. Hopefully he does well in LA in the twilight of his career.

Why did he retire early, even with the short stint he made TT look like a genius while winning a Super Bowl.

Why would you get Reggie White feelings about a guy who was a 3-4 Nose Tackle?

Robert Edwards was tremendously gifted. It really is a shame what happened to him.

Injuries. He was in one of Aaron Rodgers’ early State Farm commercials too.

The absolute wildest moment in this broad cast is around the 1 hour mark of the video. Where active NFL coaches and NFL front office personal like Dick Vermile and Tony Dungy went in front of a camera on ESPN and just shite on Randy Moss for like 5 minutes.

This was great. Amazing how much the world has changed in 23 years

Can you imagine like Ron Rivera going on this broadcast and telling the camera they won’t draft fields because he might be a big ole piece of shite?
