No doubt.
I just wanted the facts to be clear. College football was only sparingly integrated until the 70s, even in the non-racist North.

Ohio State -still relevant
Michigan -no longer relevant
Interesting that Michigan is no longer relevant and Ohio State is when Michigan has destroyed Ohio State two years in a row and made the playoffs both years.

I guess Michigan is still relevant in the same way that the cowboys are

Huh? When recently has the cowboys made the conference championship game (final four)?

The first black All-American at Ohio State was Bill Willis in 1942 who is in the college and pro football hall of fame.

Which matches their win total for the previous 20 years.
Since Harbaugh, they're still 2-6* against us and 1-6 in bowl games.
Irrelevant is exactly what they are.

IMO I would put Ohio St. at #2….since the late 60’s the Bucks hasn’t had a lull for any period of time.

Dallas continually chokes in the playoffs as does Michigan

It’s not a matter of what anybody on this board thinks.
Well, the AP Poll isn’t much better at ranking teams as the people on this board, so…

I just don't get the Texas blue blood status apart from it being a huge H.S. football State.
And Nixon declaring them National Champs one year over Penn State who beat them 30-6 two years later.
4 (1963, 1969, 1970, 2005) claimed.
They get the love for players produced. They have tons of bowl appearances because they were always penciled in to the Cotton Bowl. Texas won only one bowl between 1982 and 1993. And didn't win an AP Title until the 60's.
Texas is all hat and no cattle in its blue blood status.
But for some reason they get dawned over.
