The Saints are the big market team now. It proves that you don't have to be in a big city or state to draw people. The Saints are unique with the chants of "Who Dat", the culture of New Orleans, the world's greatest fans, the talent on the squad, and of course superb coaching! Who Dat say they goin' beat dem Saints in 2010?

Saints are the flavor of the week. One down year and they are back to irrelevancy. Try being a little more realistic.

Honestly though, I don't care for the preseason hype my Cowboys get. However, in 2010 it makes sense for us and the Packers to be favorites in the NFC.

1. Historically, the Super Bowl champs fail to return in the following season.
2. The Eagles are going through their typical offseason "are we going to trade Donovan?" talk at the moment.
3. Minnesota is not sure if Favre will be back. If he does not return, and they don't land McNabb, they are not NFC favorites.
4. Arizona is Warner-less.
5. New York and Atlanta missed the playoffs in 2009.
6. Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, and Tampa all suck arse right now.
7. San Francisco, Carolina, and anyone else I failed to mention is mediocre.

That doesn't leave too many choices. You could argue for the Saints, Cowboys, Vikings, Eagles, Packers IMO.

*This is an objective view.

AHHH!!! i hate the "we have more championships than you", argument. Sure it is true, but in no way applies to the present. What have the cowboys done this decade? How many playoff wins? 1? how many playoff wins do the saints have? oh right, 5. 4th grade math tells us that is 5 times the amount of playoff wins the Cowboys have. Since 2000 the cowboys have a 81-78 record. The Saints are 83-76. Well would u look at that. A better record too. Face it Cowboys fans, we are a better team and have been for a while. Just takes a Superbowl ring for u guys to notice.

2010/2011 NFC Playoff Seedings

1. Cowboys
2. Saints
3. Packers
4. 49ers
5. Falcons
6. Bears

I don't know anything beyond that... it is too hazy to see.

You Cowboys fans can see whatever you please...we won the SB this year, so I couldn't really give a shite what you have to see. Oh no, we didn't win a SB until this year. You've won 5. Ok. That's nice. We've won one more recently than you though, so right now, that's what matters.

Anyway, as someone else mentioned, the Cowboys won't win a SB with Philips. If you can get someone like Cowher or a new, fresh coach that knows what he's doing, then you'll have a chance.

It'd be awesome if the Saints got to play in the SB next year hosted by Dallas. I might fear for my life if that happens.

Cowboys are the most talented team every year.
They recruit extremely well and Texas is fertile ground for good football players.

If this is true than why is it that this is the first year that a Texas born QB has won the Super Bowl?

QB= most important player on the field. I guess Texas just produces size and not talent.

Pretty sure the recruiting stuff was a joke, but come on, you know TX produces talented players.

It's a padded theory. The 3 states that produce the most football players are California,Texas, and Florida. Three States that have the highest population..........SHOCKER

I'm more impressed with the fact that Louisiana has produced the second most Super Bowl winning QB's than Texas ability to pump out decent players.

The Cowboys are the Notre Dame of pro football, which is why I hate both.

I have gotten to where I hate them enough to never actually watch either any more. That is the key to them being shoved down our throats, their ratings are high with people watching them to see them lose.

that's a pretty bad misconception that I've been hearing a lot

the super bowl champions have returned to the superbowl the following year 10 times in 44 games... that's a lot higher than any other finish in the previous year.

nice how you make valid arguments why the Vikings and Eagles won't be favored, but your anti-Saints argument is a complete non-sequitor. Here, I'll help you out:

1. Green Bay's offensive line allows too many sacks. Rodgers getting severely injured is just a matter of time.
2. New Orleans' offseason is very questionable given the number of free agents that they have to deal with, and the fact that they can't look outside of their roster for FA help due to the uncapped year rules.
3. Dallas' offense has proven to be too wildly inconsistent to be reliable in the playoffs.

Someone refresh my memory. Didn't the Cowturds get their asses whipped in the divisional round while the Saints went on to win the Super Bowl?

It must be hard being a Cowboy fan knowing you are the most overrated team in the NFL while trying to convince everyone else you are still good.
