You’re right. What Baltimore need to do is get rid of their MvP candidate QB and sign someone else. Maybe then they can repeat as the #1 seed and beat the defending champs in the playoffs.
They were one rookie wr fumbling at the goaline from a tie game to decide the Super Bowl.

Every January he’s exposed

Allen has way more attempts the percentages (TD, Int, Y/A) are pretty close but Jackson is slightly better. He’s definitely better than the zero sum morons on here are giving him

So the same as Manning and Brees at their age

58% passing, more turnovers than touchdowns in the playoffs
This was also Josh Allen last year in the playoffs against the Bengals

if he sucks so bad, why does he keep making the playoffs?

Would you like to compare Allen and Lamar in the playoffs? Ok let’s do it
Allen in playoffs
300 yards/game—2.6 tds/game—0.4 int/game—100 passer rating
Lamar in playoffs
263 yards/game—1.2 tds/game—0.85 int/game—77 passer rating
Allen elevates in the playoffs. He eliminates the turnovers. Lamar’s game goes down in the playoffs

I agree. Allen is definitely the leader of the 2nd tier qbs in the league

Lamar and Allen have had very similar careers so far. They do it in different ways and neither has translated to a SB win.
But for some people to suggest one is a top 3 QB and the other is terrible or below average is laughable.
We have one guy saying Baker Mayfield is better than Lamar.

In the playoffs Lamar and Allen have not been comparable. Allen shows clear separation there
You have Mahomes tier
Burrow/Allen tier. Great QBs that also have played great in playoffs.
And then the next tier. But Lamar is not with burrow and Allen

For sure Allen has had better performances in the playoffs than Lamar. That’s not in question.
But it hasn’t equated to a SB win or even a SB appearance. And let’s face it, that’s what everyone is talking about. The inability get over the hump.

Mahomes and Stafford are the only starting QBs in the nfl that have done it
So is Stafford #2?
After Mahomes, assuming you don’t take Stafford (which nobody will take him 2), you are taking a Qb that hasn’t won it.

Burrow/Allen tier.
Lol. One of these QBs is 3-1 vs Pat and at least made a SB. The other is Josh Allen.
Mahomes
Burrow
Allen/2nd tier guys

No. I’m not suggesting that at all.
I’m suggesting that Allen and Lamar have had similar careers but this place acts like one is garbage and the other is elite.
You decided to bring in playoff success into the equation. And in the grand scheme of things, playoff success only matter if you win.
Lamar had a great game last week but shite the bed this week. Allen had a great game last week but didn’t complete a pass this week.

Everyone already knew that

Lamar is not shite, but this board is just ESPN lite with hyperbolic takes and low brow trolling
Posted on 1/28/24 at 8:26 pm to lsupride87
Fair enough. I’ll agree on that.
