Alabama got a mulligan and won the title. I wish some of the teams I pulled for received such a gift...bowl games with the layoff...are entirely different.
It was a terrible game; not a satisfying end to the CFB year. They might be #1 but I really dislike Alabama's style - watching them from a viewer's perspective - not that Saban cares what people think. He's got the crystal.

The best thing is that its over.
Hopefully the ratings were low so that the SEC was embarrassed as little as possible across the country.

hopefully this is the last rematch we ever see...
my question on the strength of the SEC... if the SEC is so strong, why do teams go through it every season and end up undefeated or one loss to get in the BCSNCG? shouldn't a strong conference beat up its teams so that none emerge unscathed

I feel pretty good now that we actually scored 11 points on that defense even if it was September. Silver lining.

This was the very reason the other conference presidents were staunchly against a plus 1 scenerio in '08. It's more conducive to rematches by two teams in the same conference and the other president felt Slive was trying for just that..
