Yeah. That's actually every hitter's job in a baseball game. Did you know that if you get on base, you didn't get out and your team gets to continue trying to score runs?

He hasn't been red hot but he also hasn't been terrible. He's still getting on base and BA can fluctuate a ton in a short sample just due to good or bad luck. He's still doing as good or better of a job than most on this team have been doing. I'm not going to say he suddenly sucks because of a seven day stretch. The guy is one of our four best hitters.

Sorry, wasn't trying to disagree with you. I agree that he hasn't been hot over the last week. Just saying he's still one of our best hitters and I hate having him sixth in the order.

I was thinking about this the other day. if I could choose one athlete to invest in (based on their potential for future earnings), I think it would be Julio.
pros
- young
- no salary cap
- has shown that he can be an ace
- high need for his position, so teams overpay
cons
- risk of tommy john? (I really like his mechanics though)
- homerism
- flash in the pan?
- not a QB (but i think the no salary cap outweighs this one)
