Buy tickets for the April 16th game if you can make it. It's going to be a good night at SunTrust.

Trying to pick a good series to come to in May or June. Leaning towards the Cub series in May.

Hilariously some writers are ripping Braves for demoting Acuna.

Pretty simple economics dummies.

If writers/fans want to blame someone, then they need to blame Tony Clark and the players association. They do not care about minor league players or rookies. They only care about themselves and having first class travel and chef cooked meals.

Theyve had chances to change the way things work, but they dont, and as long as the system is like it is, players will be kept down by every team, or they will be signed to team friendly deals to avoid the problem.

the ATL sports page doesnt get much action...

will be in atlanta in 2 weeks, wondering how hard it is to get to the new stadium from downtown on a tuesday night?
is parking available, or take an uber?

the new park seems like it is pretty far outside of downtown.

if you try to come from 430-630 it will suck...likely take an hour. If you come before it will take 15-20 min depending where you are gonna be. Parking is easy, I would take uber tho. They have designated dropoffs and its really easy

its probably 30 min apart from the Ted

Dont. Atlanta traffic is atrocious, especially at the connector where the stadium is. If you want to go to a game at say 7pm, you need to be on your way by 3.

Ehhh.. its bad but it moves. I leave work at 4 everyday off Fulton Industrial and I live .3 miles from the stadium and it takes me 30-35 min. Usually 40 on Fridays.

Thats 20 east to 285 north and off at Cobb Pkwy, Suntrust Park exit

It’s not ideal but it’s not nearly as bad as what you described

The exaggeration in this thread is pretty sad. 4 hours to get to the stadium? Get the frick out.

I live about equidistant from SunTrust that I do from the Ted but game traffic to the newer park is so much better.

There are all kinds of strip malls in the Suntrust area that you can park and take, at most, about a 1/2 mile walk to the stadium.

At least there were last year.

Oh... and we're gonna have one of the worst pitching staffs in MLB this year, aren't we?

But luckily the Braves will be cracking open the check-book and spending BIG BIG BUCKS next year to fix it!

SIAP but I just saw on ESPN where the Braves are talking to Jose Bautista about a one year deal. Unless a Markakis trade is in the works, this wouldn't make much sense
