With Shuster and Dodd already in the rotation, I was wondering who’d get Fried’s starts. I guess it will be Elder or Anderson. I don’t imagine Wright will be ready. Just with the timing and rest days, I guess it’s gonna have to be Elder. If Anderson goes tomorrow, he’d have to start on short rest. Hope Elder looks good tonight. The off day today is gonna wind up helping.

Yeah, I don't think Wright is eligible to return until the 11th so I'm guessing it'll be between Elder/Anderson. Hopefully one of them shoves this weekend so that we can breathe easier.

That’s cool. I have a subscription, but have never looked for minor league games. Are they easy to find?

I actually haven't watched any minor league games as well but I know it's part of your subscription now. I linked a page below though that has a information on how to watch the games. Apparently we have to redeem access and download an app. Hope it helps.

I think it'll be Elder. I don't think they'll bring Ian back up to the majors until he gets the walks under control. The team has got to be sick of that shite by now.

It pretty much has to be, right? Even if Ian looks brilliant, Fried’s spot will come up to where Ian would have to go on short rest. Now if Elder gets lit up tonight, not sure what they’ll do.

The other problem AA has is that he has to expect at least one of Shuster, Dodd, or Morton to get lit up and have to burn through some bullpen arms again. Morton getting blown up in spring training was a very bad sign. I'm not entirely convinced he lasts all season in the rotation.

We signed Charlie Culberson to a minor league deal. He'll report to Gwinnett.

Charlie back!

Have to wonder if part of this is to help Grissom and Shewmake, but I think he might take Adrianza's spot eventually.

Damn man, I'm not trying to get depressed on a beautiful Friday afternoon.

Fried's hurt, Wright's not available, Morton looking washed, Anderson forgot how to pitch, two rookies we've never seen pitch a big league game are solidly in the rotation right now.

I'm not sold on Morton, but for two years he's been straight garbage for the first half of the season and then becomes really good for the second half. Seems like the norm these days.

There was barely any difference between Morton's first and second halves last year, he was mediocre during both with 4.20ish+ ERA both halves.

Hopefully he surprises, but he was not worth a 20 mil contract after last season, and the age genie doesn't typically go back in the bottle.

Ehh, they both give you the same thing in the field and in plate production, but Adrianza also gives you switch hitting and a better pinch runner option.

Bryce Elder starts for Gwinnett on Friday, and would be in line to start on Wednesday in STL (Max Fried’s day) if Max Fried (hamstring strain) eventually hits the injured list.

Watching Gwinnett because no Braves. Grissom just hit a nice triple down the 1st base line.

I’m rooting for Soroka. Just watched the little interview where he said he is open to anything that gets him to the bigs and genuinely seems like he means it. He’s always seemed liked a good dude.

Shewmake hits a walk off 3 run homer to win it for the Stripers (with Grissom on)

What do I need to know to be a Braves fan? Playing Fantasy baseball this year, never really followed MLB much. Wanted to start following team. Have a strong dislike for the garbage can bangers, Dodgers, and anything Philly. Kinda off handed rooted for the Rangers since they were the first team I saw. But I live close enough to ATL where it would be an easy weekend trip if I wanted to catch a game

Thought it was odd that the Braves were off yesterday. It truly makes no sense to me considering they are playing the Nats again today
