You seen Orioles Hangout's discussion of this?

Exactly. I would much rather them start their offer with the likes of Beachy, Minor or Freeman and then take it from their. Jurrjens, Prado, and another prospect is very unimpressive to me.

I haven't been back since they wouldnt let me sign up.

That's fricking retarded. It's amazing how delusional they are, as well as the guys at Braves nation.

Are they high? Freeman, as a 21 year old rookie, put up basically the same numbers as Jones. And that's just where they want to start?

If you don't extrapolate McKeon's numbers over an entire season, Fredi rates as the most "Traditional" Manager in the National League.

Traditional Managing Index Scores

Oh yeah I forgot to add....

I'm not really concerned with what term they use to describe it. I'm concerned that our manager takes away at bats from position players and gives the other team free base runners more than any other manager in the league.

Already posted.

But from the deadspin comments

They did this once when Otis Nixon was on the team but singing "dashing through the snow" would always make him rub his gums and run to the bathroom.

Man, this has been one of the most entertaining off-seasons in Braves history. So much movement, I don't even know where to begin.

Looks like the teams in on Jurrjens are the Tigers, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Rockies, and Rangers.

The Nats or Sox are gonna land Gio Gonzalez tonight. Gammons says leaning Nats... that may help with Jurrjens to Sox.

I could see the Sox making a serious run at JJ. Problem is, do they match up? Don't think they have anything that could provide an impact on this team for this upcoming season.

Maybe something like a Josh Reddick, Will Middlebrooks, Brandon Jacobs type return.
