I went on the train. They stop running around 1. It's just too bad that the one I got on didn't run you over.

Sucks that McCann got hurt tonight, well earned victory nonetheless.

Jerry Meals inserted the nail tonight, let's take a hammer to them tomorrow and Thursday.

did you really just compare surgery to umping in the 19th inning

Obviously one is more important than the other, but is crazy how Robot Santa was almost defending the ump. Even if my team got the call, then I would be happy for my team, but I would not make excuses for that POS umpire.

It is his fricking job. I can blame him.

If a surgeon was performing a major emergency operation on you at 4:30 am, but he was tired and was just going to rush through it to sleep. Would you blame him? I mean he just wanted to get some sleep, right?

Dude.....it's a fricking regular season baseball game. If the Braves make the playoffs by one game or the Pirates miss it then MAYBE you have some vestige of a point. Otherwise, you are a fricking idiot. Surgery = baseball? GTFO. The guy was a shitty ump to begin with and the game lasted almost 7 hours. I'm surprised he wasn't asleep on the field.

It is a fricking analogy to prove that you cannot just quit on your job.

No, you should not be. It is his fricking job. He needs to be prepared to handle the situation as best he possibly can.

For the most part, the Braves fans on here are intolerable.

Show me where I said made an OK call. I just said I couldn't blame the guy for being tired. He fricked up, but everyone is acting like the guy blew a call in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 of the World Series. He should get suspended and prevented from working playoff games. If it were up to some of the dumbasses on this board he would be fired though.

Meals was fricking awful all night long. Hell, he was so bad that even Fredi got ejected (first time this year). No surprise he missed that call. Bill Hohn-esque all night.

He should be in trouble for that one. Either his eyes were shut closed, or he just wanted to get out of there. I am leaning towards the latter. If so, he intentionally threw a ballgame. That is a big fricking deal.
