I’m ready to be pissed off. He deserves it 100%. It’s true that he doesn’t play as tough of a position at 1B, but he plays it damn near perfect.
I read an article from BR who said Freddie doesn’t deserve MVP because “he doesn’t play his position as well as Tatis or Betts”
He’s probably the best 1B in MLB. GTFO

I would take Freddie or Ronnie over Betts and Tatis 12 times out of 10. Betts is phenomenal but Tatis got way too overblown by national media.

I think Freddie was the slight favorite already, but tonight might cement it for him. Betts, Tatis and Machado are way more valuable defenders, but Freddie has been so sick at the plate it doesn’t matter.
