Have a feeling Sunday is going to be either Folty or some other new call-up.

Freddie allows plays to be made because of his range. Dansby, Riley, Ozzie, etc just have to get the ball in the zipcode of first base and Freddie almost always makes the play. On the other end, just look at the throw back to Dansby at third the other night. That was a MVP play.

No way they bring him up. What’s the purpose? If he does great all they would wanna do is pitch him in the playoffs and he’d choke.
Only plus I could see is showing him in hopes of trading him this offseason if he shows his velocity is up again (don’t even know how many years he has left on his contract though)

To not pitch someone we will actually use in the playoffs for a meaningless game.
Folty won't be making the postseason roster even if he were to pitch a 27-pitch perfect game.
The fact that we haven't brought him back up over the last month basically was the Braves telling him that they're done with him.
