The team should have gotten in a liitle earlier than 4. I'm assuming flight delays.
Game ended at 11 or something, right? Hour to get cleaned up and finished with the post game interviews. 30 minutes to the airport. 30-45 minutes to load up the plane and get everyone seated. That's already 1 AM. Fly to Boston...2.5 hours? Unload and head to the hotel. Easily 4 AM.

It’s a one hour flight from Philly to Boston.

Fenway is 5 miles from Logan.

Anyone who has ever been to Boston knows that can easily take 30 minutes

Kakes always starts off hot and cools down as the season goes on but he’s been extra awesome this year.

Dansby is a blur running the bases. He is the fastest player on this team.

no. But he is quick
I remember hearing on a broadcast last year that Dansby was timed out as the fastest on the team running the bases. This was before we signed Billy Hamilton late in the season.

Has anyone seen any stats on Acuña’s sprint speed vs last year? He seems like he put on a small bit of weight.

I’ve read that it’s Acuña and Ozzie with Dansby not far behind.
Maybe Acuña and Ozzie are faster in a line but Dansby is faster around the bases

Here comes the company spin

I know they are all employed directly or indirectly by the Braves, but LOL at Paul Byrd telling us that the best move was to not make a move.
ETA: And then Chip says the price for Clevinger was high.
Frenchy is at least being realistic.

Fried already up to 40 pitches in the 2nd inning.
Not good.
Not good.

Don’t worry. The pen’s load should decrease now that we have Milone and now that Folty’s velocity is up to 94.

And we still can’t score runners from 3rd
