Folty may not be throwing his typical high 90s, but his breaking stuff is sharp. I would love to learn that he has sacrificed a little velocity for more control.

Question for my homies in da thread:

Which Braves pitcher is most likely to throw a no hitter?

Surprisingly, Newcomb came awfully close to no hitting the Dodgers in 2018. Got broken up with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the 9th.

I don't think Soroka will do it because he pitches to contact. If any of them do it, I'd say it would be Fried because he throws a hard heater and has that ridiculous curveball. On the right day, I could see it happening for him.

That’s what I was thinking.

Fried
Folty
Soroka

In that order

Our pitching situation isn’t great, but remember, Julio Teheran was our #1 pitcher 2-3 years ago

Let’s hope he doesn’t have a flashback to the other night against the marlins where he gave three in a row

Does anybody else think Folty lost some weight? He looks smaller than what I can remember.

Folty is almost like a meth head out there. Very rarely does he land in a consistent spot on his follow through
