Reading through this thread and the one from the Monday game, and it seems like there are a TON of Braves fans on here with an inferiority complex

Wtf? Braves are 4-1 against the Cubs this season.

They like to talk shite (look how many Contreras gifs are on the first page), but most of them weren’t Cubs fans until 3 years ago. It’s a little more back and forth this series since Contreras acted like a fool Monday.

Regardless of the Contreras stuff which Flowers had plenty to do with, ask yourself, would the same type of shite talking/gloating/treads be happening if the Braves were playing the Marlins this week? I don't think it would. Thus the inferiority complex. Like the Braves fans are trying to PROVE to everyone how much cooler and better they are.

Ask yourself if any marlins fans exist to shite talk with

Makes sense that series featuring combinations of braves, cubs, cardinals, and astros would have the most talk on this site. More fun to shite talk somebody rather than talk to yourself

Please point me to the Marlins fans. And yes, we do dislike other teams such as the Phillies and Gnats, but there aren't many fans for those teams on this site.

A closer!

Luke Jackson isnt a bad pitcher like everyone makes him out to be. He just isnt good enough as closer.

This is idiotic. There's like one Marlins fan here. So no, back and forth between Marlins and braves on here wouldn't be the same as between fanbases that have a lot of representation here like braves, cubs, Astros, or Cardinals.

And how is it the braves fans being this way when it was all in response to a couple Cubs fans trolling the thread with Contreras gifs? Funny they all disappeared after the loss.

I remember Cubs fans coming into ATL threads last season to white knight for Soto over Acuna so his viewpoint is particularly rich

I think Cubs fans are starting to see what it was like being a Braves fan in the 90s. They did a great job of building their team through the farm system and adding key free agents where needed. Made a big time free agent signing for a starting pitcher, etc.

they got their world championship, as did the Braves, but otherwise it's been 3 postseason failures in their 4 year run.

Does yesterday's loss remind you of the good old days of watching WGN with your grandpappy as die hard Cubs fans in Louisiana who couldn't find Chicago on a map?

Cubs figs have a very annoying habit of trolling Braves game threads. That has a lot to do with it

I used to get pissed when I'd come home from school looking to watch some Saved by the Bell on WGN and the fricking Cubs were playing. That was basically 50-60 school days of the year ruined because the Cubs HAD to play their dumbass day games.
