Is it just me or did someone tell our batters "listen, we've been striking out a lot lately, therefore, we should stop swinging altogether"

I love watching Freddie bat. He fights and I wish more guys would hit like him. If he sees a pitch coming that may be on the boundary of the zone he will swing defensively to stay alive.

Unlike Uggla and both of the Uptons who will just watch a borderline pitch and act dumbfounded when they get rung up.

I mean he had a good year last year but other than that whats so impressive? He's been struggling pretty hard this year.

He hasn't been that bad. He's coming off an injury and will be fine for the rest of the year.

It would just depend on what he would cost for me, as he's not really someone I could see us extending. He'd definitely be an upgrade once Pena's bat cools off. We'd most likely be paying for last years value for him, which I wouldn't really be down for.
