Funny how that happens.

We are all trying to avoid watching baseball like football and are waiting until the end of the year before we make any judgement whatsoever

Except you're not. Plenty of hate when he doesn't play well, while giving next to no credit when he does. Just say you don't like him and be done with it

Crazy the difference a week makes in baseball. Need to avenge that awful Toronto series starting Tuesday.

Bats (other than RAJ) are waking up.

Tyler Matzek needs to pitch 25 scoreless innings in a row to reach an ERA as low as Luke Jackson’s

Riley has established himself as an MLB-quality the player.

He plays an average-to-above-average 3B and is an average hitter with some pop and the ability to go on a tear.

He is basically in the Dansby's category now, where we just have to figure out if he is a longterm solution past his arb years or if he is worth trading now for something more immediate at 3B or elsewhere.

ETA: Dude needs to work on keeping his throws down though.

Fair take.

I can see Riley being a .270ish hitter, especially if he can keep his walk rate up like he has and goes center to RF on an occasional basis like he has also shown he can do when needed.

And he has 35 HR power. He is a big, strong, Mississippi country baw.

Huascar Ynoa now has five starts this season in which he’s allowed one run or less. The only pitcher with more? ... #Braves castoff Kevin Gausman (6).

Weird season.

.270 with 35 HR is 2019 Donaldson level stuff. I would take that all day and that would probably get him MVP consideration.

Yeah .270 is probably being a little generous on my part. 260-265 is probably more realistic and that will be perfectly fine considering what his power #'s should be.

Since it's an off day, I'm buying tickets to the July 2nd game. Do they make any sections move for the fireworks?
