That's Freddie's fault. Wtf is he doing

No lets blame Kemp.

He struck out twice against maybe the second best pitcher in baseball instead of driving in runs.

Definitely his fault. He's trash.

A bunch of these jack asses are going to blame Kemp in the last inning but that's 100% on FF

Absolutely Freddie's fault. Stopped for literally no reason.

It's not an overreaction to say this:

The late innings in the bullpen look good, especially if Cabrera is real, but the mid relief looks like some of the worst in the majors by quite a lot on paper.

Even if they hit, it's pretty insane that Coppy thinks starting two traffic cones in the OF in Markakis and Kemp is okay.

An 8 man bullpen is wrong (even with how bad the pen looked today) and carrying three catchers is also the wrong approach.

Trusting Bonifacio as the backup CF is dumb.

It's fricking 6-0. They would have literally let him crawl to the plate without a throw.

Thought Swanson brought a nice approach after the first AB today. He could have easily been on base twice. Some days will be a learning experience for him though.

I do think there were some bright spots today. If Flowers makes that tag, its an entirely different ball game. This loss is entirely on him.

Freddie looked good besides acting a fool on the last out. I agree on Dansby. Kemp will be fine, we were facing one of the better pitchers in baseball today. Ender is just a fricking boss in CF.

Seriously, frick that 7th inning. That was an abortion.

Agree completely. That was a HUGE swing and it's simply mind boggling why he wasn't anywhere near the front of the plate. That's little league shite.

Agreed

Eh. Kemps bat will make up for his lack in the field. Markakis is a different story. He's not going to hit well and he can't play d anymore.

Agreed. Also who's idea was it to carry three catchers? Just all around stupid.

Bonifacio is a train wreck. I'm guessing they just don't want to rush people too far ahead of their natural progression. They know he shouldn't be there but is just a place holder

Eerily similar to the first game last year. Insane throw by Inciarte. Should have been out at the plate. Hope he keeps his head up.

We're only going with 7 right now. If/when we do go to 8 I doubt we'll see Recker stay up.

Dude, how long have you been a Brave's fan?

You don't know about The Brave's Way? It's the Gospel according to St. Bobby.

Many sinners have fallen to the Pit due to transgressing against the Gospel.

A few observations:

Teheran looked really good. He had good stuff and they couldn't really make good contact against him.

Freeman hit the ball hard several times. If the Braves overachieve, he's going to be a MVP candidate.

Swanson is going to be really, really good.

The middle of the bullpen looked like warmed over dogshit.

How's carrying an extra bad reliever going to fix our problem of bad relief pitching? The problem is the quality not the quantity.

They're simply picking up where they left off. As far as someone's comment about carrying 3 catchers, this is the result of having nobody on the bench capable of hitting for power. You either carry Recker or someone whose need is already being filled by Peterson and Bonifacio and what good is that going to do us?
