Hate me all you want, you respond just as much as I do and take it way more personal.

What does that say about you?

Snit punted this game putting Chavez in. Pitiful

Given how Minter has pitched the last few times out, Snit punted by leaving him in to give up five freaking hits. He should have been yanked after the third hit IMO, and certainly shouldn't have faced Chisholm.

It's the poor pitcher awareness and bullpen management I was complaining about with Snit the other day biting us in the butt.

Hopefully Once Iglesias comes back Minter can get a phantom DL stunt to get himself straightened out.

I mean, at that point in the game, who else are you supposed to turn to besides Minter and then Jesse?

We used everyone for an inning because of the rain and couldn't have anyone go too deep because we have 4 straight in NY coming up without a travel day.

The bullpen is just both injured and pretty shitty right now.

That is definitely annoying, but IMO, over the course of 162, keeping the clubhouse together is by far the most important job for a manager. Those guys would run through a wall for Snit.

Other than maybe leaving Minter in too long, I don't really see the egregious management. And I can see an argument for still wanting Minter in that spot over Jesse, who has been rocked just as bad lately and doesn't have the same bail out stuff as AJ.

Yeah this wasn't on Snit. Bullpens are volatile, and Minter has been through a funk like this before and come out of it. It just sucks that it's happened three times in less than a week for him. I'm not worried about Minter yet.

Agreed on all points.

Blaming the manager is always the easy and lazy argument whenever something goes sideways.

Agreed. As much as I complain about Snit's poor abilities as a tactician, I still consider him a top half manager in MLB due to that. There are certainly many worse options, Dusty Baker for example.

His consistent ability to pull pitchers a batter or two too late is just immensely frustrating since it costs us several games a year.

Jesse, was the right call, but given Minter has been completely lost lately he shouldn't have been waiting till one hit loses the game to pull Minter. Once Minter showed he didn't have it today Young would have been a better option.

I also would have given Lee an extra inning earlier in the game since he cruised with only 12 pitches.

He had few options left so it's not the pitchers chosen as much as waiting too late to make a change I have an issue with, which is a consistent theme with him.

I'm still dying with Minter before I even think about riding with Danny Young.

OK? Why you keep telling us Contreras stats?

What are our pitchers ERA with Murphy behind the plate? Pretty good.
