It sucks that 90% of the time when the ball beats them there by that much, its assumed he was out.

Snitker is very good. A lot better than Fredi was imo.

Angel Hernandez will call a pitch a ball and then on the very next pitch call the *exact* same pitch a strike.

He's as awful as the come in the league. Hasn't got a clue behind the fricking plate.

Right behind CB Bucknor as the worst umpire period in the league, for sure.

That being said, a great slide by Simmons and poor catcher tag doesn't make Snitker a good 3B coach.

1. The runner was safe.
2. It wouldn't have even been close if Simmons had been running hard with his head down and picking up his coach.
3. It was a good decision by Snitker.

Gattis has done a really nice job blocking the plate with balls in the dirt this season.
