I was curious to see if Snit would make some lineup adjustments based on who's hot.

I was thinking maybe put Swanson 2nd behind Acuna, but I wasn't sure where to move everyone else.

Having said that - your studs are the reason you get to the post-season.... Freddie, Donaldson, Acuna and Ozzie....

But your role-players, bench and bullpen ultimately decide how much success you have once you get there.

Hopefully, Freeman and/or Donaldson get their bats going tonight and we put this one away before we all have heart attacks!

Someone on 680 just mentioned that today is Yom Kippur and Fried is Jewish. There's a question of whether he's available today because of it.

Can't wait!

So what's been the topic of the talk shows down there?

Here it's been the Yadi throat slash in retaliation for an Akuna Jr. giving one the game before.

Lots of handwringing and justification for what would have outraged the BFIBs were it reversed.

Acuna did not give a throat slash. He crosses his thumb across his chest several times a game as a tribute to someone. Molina is just a fricking douche.

Acuna definitely did the throat slash for sure when he caught the final out in game 3.

Without a doubt.

Honestly, the Braves should have won this series already. We've had leads late in games and ... in true Braves fashion - the Cardinals have found a way to win twice.

Several broken-bat, bloop-find-a-hole hits.... the ball hitting your runner going back to 1st the other night....

the Braves leaving the bases loaded in 2 innings in Game 4 without scoring....

An oblique injury to a relief pitcher during warm-ups...

All of this is kind of normal for Braves post-season.

That'd be some typical Braves' luck in October.

Mostly battered Barves syndrome due to the bats going cold in October once again.

If it's like other Jewish holidays he could pitch in good conscious after sunset.

Yom Kippur started Tuesday at sunset and ends Wednesday at sunset.

Yom Kippur is a 25 hour fast. Its not ramadan. At the very least he will need to not over injest..

Koufax sat out a game for it..

No he didn't.

He went across his chest in a "that's it" motion, as it the game was over. One would have to be very dumb it extremely disingenuous to think that was a throat slash. Here's the video.

Molina threw his bat in acuña's direction while staring him down and then makes an actual clear and deliberate throat slash. That part is unquestionable. Here's that video.

Here's a pic

I don't know. I don't really care about it, I'm just clearing up misinformation.

Yadi is kinda a bitch though for letting Ñ get in his head this badly without even trying.
