They got a great guy in the Braves would probably have won 3 or 4 instead of 1 these past years

Lol, tell me what manager is winning 3-4 World Series in the last 4 years?

Not sure. I'm rooting for the Braves though since my team (Rangers) aren't playing.

Braves besides this season have had the best or one of the best rosters the last five years

Sean Murphy and Arcia batting is pretty bad though.
Kind of hard to get past such can be negatives

So what manager is hitting .750 or 1.000 in World Series the last four years?
Do you realize how stupid of an assumption that is?

For the 4th time in this series, Orlando Arcia is going to lead off an inning.

It was an exaggeration. My point is very clear though but of course Snit must be protected at all cost. I get it

That is not hyperbole either.

Like I said before, I had zero expectations for this series, so I’m not really bothered by losing.
It will be tough to reconcile that the 2023 offense and 2024 pitching missed each other by a year.

It was an exaggeration. You guys just get sensitive anytime anyone dares to question Snit or request for better.

A MLB manager doesn’t have that kind of impact. That’s why they’re called “managers,” instead of “coaches.” A manager can help over 162 to steer the ship and get the team into October. But once that calendar turns, it’s the guys on the field that have to go out and do the damn thing.
NL managers had a bigger impact without the DH, especially in the playoffs. But now, they’ve just got to go with their gut and let their guys go out there and win or lose. There’s no Bellicheck or Saban or Phil Jackson or whoever that makes that kind of difference in MLB in 2024.
That said, this team may need some juice. If they were relying on Wash from the coaching staff to give it to them while Snit was the stoic one overseeing everything, that chemistry worked for a good while. Might need to change it up. But it’s not the “Brave’s Way” and would be a big risk/reward move by AA to go with a younger, hungrier guy. But firing Snit after all his success would rein down all kinds of hellfire from the national media.

DP
Ozuna/Soler/Kelenic/Ronnie—4 guys for 3 spots. Trade Ozuna or Soler in the offseason or find ways to get them all ABs, and trade 1 at the deadline? Or bite the bullet on Kelenic, sunken cost, and let him spot start against righties and just keep them all as insurance? Soler and Ozuna are just so similar. Marcell is gonna regress to the the mean eventually. And he literally cannot play the field. Soler might be the the me to keep, especially considering his postseason success and he’s under control for another year or 2 after Ozuna. I don’t know. We’re gonna have to give up assets to get a SS, though.

103 off the bat there. .610 xBA. Story of the season. Even when we hit it hard it’s right at somebody.
