They're done, but ARod and Ortiz basically said that they announced he was scratched, and then he threw a bullpen and looked good. They said if they were in the locker room, they would be questioning what's going on.

Papi is so bad on that show, he clearly does no show prep whatsoever.
Yesterday in the pregame he had no idea who was on the Braves and then after the game he was pronouncing Fried's name like it was "fried" chicken.

He really is terrible. It seems like they want him to be the funnyman, like their version of Charles Barkley. It just doesn't work.

Yeah, that's what every studio is trying – and failing - to do, but what makes Charles work is that he isn't even trying to be funny, he's just being Chuck.
Everyone else is trying replicate that by trying to be funny.

That always worries me.
I didn't know that it was standard to inform the other team that you're switching starters. They just said on the broadcast that Dave Roberts called Snit at 9:30 this morning and told him that Kershaw was out and Gonsolin was in.
