I know we haven’t scored but our approach at the plate has been much better.

Nothing like a Braves playoff team for pitcher's to have career days against.
2 years ago, it was Kershaw actually pitching like he does in the regular season for a change. Last year, it was 65 year old Adam Wainwright shutting us down. This year, it's Bauer having his best career outing and this Castillo guy also having his best career outing.

This offense is fricking pathetic.
Can’t even hit a fastball right down the middle?

I did not think this game would be 0-0 through 4....

Are you for real right now?

Whew. Castillo is funky today

Ozuna, Duvall, and Riley seem kinda lost. Everyone else is taking a nice approach.

Might be time for Duvall to ride the pine. Put Pache in, move Acuna to right and Markakis to left. He is a black hole in the lineup right now. He is swinging at anything in Cobb County right now.
Whoever downvoted this needs to go look at Duvall's last 12 games (including today) and get back to me.

We can't seem to hit anything hard. Another strikeout.
IF there is a little good news... Castilla is at 73 pitches through 4 innings. And the score is still 0-0.

Yesterday was the best game Bauer has pitched in his entire career.

Do you watch baseball outside of Braves?

Yes. It is just a very familiar theme where guys have career games against the Braves in the playoffs. I'm convinced that 2002 Barry Bonds would go 0/16 in a four game stretch if he played for the Braves in the playoffs.

Yes let’s bench the guy who finished top 5 in the NL in HRs because he’s had a rough outing against two of the best pitchers in the game in favor of a guy who has 4 career at bats.

This is like watching Andruw Jones vs Al Leiter on a loop

He's gone 7IP + and given up 0ER three times this season before last night
He has a fricking 1.73 ERA

Geez,Duval was behind on the fastball and embarrassed on the curve.
IF we play tomorrow we have to change Albies with d'Arnaud in the order. No confidence at all in the rest of the lineup.
