This is the most correct thing that I have ever read. Fredi is fricking stupid. Is Wren just as stupid for letting Fredi ruin this team? I would have put my foot down by now.

For all we know Wren might have told Fredi that those decisions were all on him and they will be evaluated at the end of the postseason. Hopefully that is the case.

Fredi is clearly in over his head though. He was going to let fricking Jose Constanza pinch hit in a crucial situation until Mattingly went full retard and saved his arse. If not for that, we probably got swept last night. He just doesn't seem capable of changing his managerial style for postseason play, just like Bobby. Only Fredi doesn't have 3 aces to ride to the World Series every year, so the margin of error is so small it is almost nonexistent.

Well, Medlen didn't do so hot in his start. Wood has been pitching out of the bullpen. So that leaves Hale or Freddy Garcia. Sucks that it comes down to this but I don't think we have another option right now.

I would rather give Medlen another chance on short rest than throw Garcia out there in a pivotal game like this. Wood shouldn't be in the bullpen. That is the issue. Why wouldn't he be our 4th guy? Fredi put us in this situation, and unfortunately it's a shitty situation.

1-Teheran
2-Medlen
3-Minor
4-Wood

This should have been our order. Throwing Julio on the road in what was likely to be a pivotal game 3 (we weren't going to beat Kershaw in game 1) was dumb as shite and we paid for it. He was going to get rattled in that environment, and that is exactly what happened. Minor struggled down the stretch, but he has ice water in his veins and should have been the guy.

It is easy to say after the fact. It is also common sense. Throwing eLOLiot Johnson out there was a bad idea. Anyone with a brain knows what he brings to the table. Basically nothing. Ask the Royals and every other team that has dropped him. gAAAis in left field has been an absolute disaster.

He's paid to make good decisions. He makes really bad decisions.

I think most of us were worried about Teheran making a crucial game 3 start on the road for his first ever postseason outing.

The entire staff is just too young. Not having Huddy or even Beachy hurt us.

Yeah we just had too much shite to overcome.

Needed 1 of Beachy/Huddy

Needed 1 of actual production from our 2 highest paid players

Needed a manager who wouldn't consider rostering Constanza, let alone nearly pinch hitting him in the most crucial at bat of a playoff game

It's going to be fun beating Nolasco tonight only to have our hearts ripped out by Kershaw on Wednesday.

I don't think it was going to matter what gam Teheran started. He was going to be nervous regardless.

So you want BJ in the lineup?

Anything can happen at home in a winner take all series; no matter the pitcher.

I just don't think we get home

He could have survived that Crawford home run at home IMO. Not on the road in that environment.

There typically is nothing more detrimental to a playoff team in baseball than fielding miscues. It simply cannot happen in the postseason.

Ehh, we're really good against Nolasco and while we all like to make fun of Garcia because we plucked him off the street while doing lines of coke, he's been solid in his last few starts.

This team isn't gutless.

With a rookie pitcher on the mound I would want my best defensive lineup possible.

To be fair, we want Uggla at second instead of Johnson because of offense.

Same case can be made for Gattis, whose been our best hitter in the series.

That said, I lose 10 years off my life on every ball hit to LF.
