people like to act like they know what's going on with the financials (this is not directed at you...talking about in general), but in reality there's no way to know if that O'Day money prevented them from doing anything or not.

RE: Keuchel, they straight up didn't want to lose a draft pick. They lost a ton of international players and made it clear that they needed to refortify the system.
