That is incorrect. Hal McRae and another guy whose name escapes me did it sometime in the 80's
This seems to be incorrect.
McRae's only walk off homer after the age of 40 was on May 13th, 1986.
I checked all box scores from that day and there was only one other walk off homer. This was by Dave Kingman and he was only 37.
eta: I absolutely love baseball-reference.

Delgado has looked pretty damn good through 3.
Time to score some runs.

My mistake. I thought I heard them say McRae and some other no-name had pulled it off on SC last night. I'll take your word for it though.

At the end of 3, it's still 1-0 Philly.

Especially when it involves costing a journeyman pitcher a perfect game and no hitter all at once.

eta: He is one of the best in the business, though. Especially behind the plate. Very rarely disagree with his ball/strike calls.

I didn't know that was Joyce back there. I remember when that Galaragga fiasco went down and admired how he (Joyce) handled himself. And yeah, he's definitely one of the best in the biz.

We'll get something going sooner or later with these swings.

Since 1994, Chipper is 1 of 2 players with 40 homers against the Phillies. Who is the other?
We got it last night. Let's see if we can get it tonight.
