I want nothing to do with San Diego. Would much rather them end up in that 4/5 matchup. They're on a 12-2 heater right now.

Totally agree. Since the trade deadline, my fear has been we play them…and Robbie Ray and Casey Mize, 2 guys we should have and we’re expected to make a push for, sweep us out.

Sadly, from a starting pitching standpoint, the best team we matchup with is the Cubs.
I just hate how we waved the white flag on going for a top-2 seed this month even though we were in position to get the bye.
Should we advance out of the Wild Card round, we're staring at either Grant Holmes or Martin Perez opposite Skubal in game 1 of the NLDS with Sale likely not available until game 3.

With the opener of the WC on Tuesday, I think he is back for game 2 of the NLDS on Sunday. Gives him 4 days rest…it could also depend on if we are up 1-0 or down 1-0.
