We're not a good baseball team, guys.

I thought we built enough of a cushion that it was unfathomable, even with our shitty June, for us to miss the playoffs. But with the way we're playing, combined by the teams behind us winning at the clip that they are.

I'm officially starting to think we somehow needed to do more than be the first team to 40 wins to combat how bad we are now and make the playoffs.

All we had to do was not get into a pissing contest with Freddie, and use the package we put together for Olson to instead use it on a SS to follow Dansby leaving.

We're not a good team.
If you break down positions, lots of automatic outs.
Starting pitching other than Sale is below average.
72 games left in the season.
Phillies are 2 out of 1st.
Marlins are 3.5 out of 1st.
Nationals are 6.5 out of 1st.
I don't think any of us will be surprised sometime in August or sooner our team is slumping to 4th place, just ahead of the terrible Mets, who just split 4 games with us.
Also, disappointed in Walt's managing last night. Soto 3/4 career vs Iggy. Once it got to 3-1 count, base open, walk his arse. Anyway, fricker sitting on fastball and rest is history.
