No bench players left... What are we doing?

Meanwhile, Freddie hits a go-ahead HR to sweep the Rays and the Dodgers now have the best record in baseball.

Cruel, cruel irony

With Harris hurt and not on IL and Drake just back so carrying three catchers this is what you get.

Long season, there will be rough patches.

We’ve reached our first one. It won’t be the last.

Fortunately we’ve played so well that it’s easier to weather these.

Need a win tonight and then a big pitcher showdown to start a big series.

Unfortunately, after last year, the current stretch may be more the norm than the mirage that was April/May.

I guess time will tell, but I think this team has some intangibles that the last two didn’t.

Intangibles won't help Austin Riley hit a fastball, or help Ronald Acuna's hamstring heal, or help Schwellenbach's elbow heal. Those are the three things this team desperately needs right now, and the only one that seems like it might realistically happen at some point this season is Acuna's hamstring finally healing.

We'll lose the division lead by the trade deadline, and then the Phillies will make an all in push for Tarik Skubal.
