No, but it would have made more sense I guess.
Nonetheless, I think dogpiles in baseball are usually reserved to clinching postseason play, advancing to the next round in post season play, or winning a championship. Do you not agree?

That argument makes a lot more sense than the losing a series at home argument.
It was an emotional win. LSU probably wouldn't have dogpiled, but I'm quite indifferent to Alabama dogpiling.

I'm with okie, dog piles are stupid unless it's an important win. Salvaging the last game of a 3 game series isn't an important win

LSU would have to have about 10 years straight of .500 or worse baseball before they'd become a team that dogpiles in that situation.
