Doubt Yankees spend it... Garner and Ellsbury already occupy 2 spots, Judge is coming next year. Plus they have to have a spot for Beltran since Tex and AROD have to DH.

Crow? You would want to pay him that? Braves were smart.

Braves will look to deal Swisher and Bourne. Unlikely they will succeed, but will look to trade Maybin for salary relief.

I still don't get why Maybin wasn't dealt over the summer.

Crow???
That is EXACTLY the reason I wanted him gone. He's gonna get waaaay overpaid. Kudos to him but he's still vastly overrated, imo, and I would have been pissed had the Braves paid him anything remotely close to that.

Very, very, very eerie on Hanson. I was reading comments on MLBTR about Carlos Quentin's comeback and someone mentioned that the Walden-Hanson trade didn't work for Dipoto and I thought about him really for the first time in a couple of years. Was reading some articles about him as a prospect and just general wiki stuff on him this afternoon.

You along with several others said he wouldn't make anywhere close to that. Laughed at all of us that knew he would.

Just because he'll probably get a contract that big doesn't mean we should be paying him that.

He still won't. If there is a GM that dumb, he will be fired shortly after.

What are you expecting the AAV to be on his deal?

You are easily one of the top 5 dumbest posters on this site. And that's saying something because there are some true Ed Specials lurking around these parts.

With Olivera moving to LF, what is expected to be the plan at 3B? It sure would be nice to have a power bat at 3B.

Hopefully this is a stop gap option and not a for the future move. I like what this kid brings to the table, but I don't see it happening over the span of multiple seasons.

I don't think Garcia can get it done in an every day role.

We need to find long term answers at C, 2B and 3B. Hopefully one of those holes can be filled this offseason.
