Bowman tweeted we won't be adding anyone else to the 40 man.
Edit: Johan Camargo is the only other player in the organization eligeable to be taken. I doubt anyone will take him.
Edit 2: MLB Pipleline Top 100 Prospects not currently on 40 man rosters:
7. Tyler Glasnow, RHP, Pirates
12. Orlando Arcia, SS, Brewers
14. Nomar Mazara, OF, Rangers
31. Josh Bell, 1B, Pirates
41. Blake Snell, LHP, Rays
71. Brandon Nimmo, OF, Mets
95. Kyle Zimmer, RHP, Royals
98. Michael Fulmer, RHP, Tigers
99. Raimel Tapia, OF, Rockies

Would love.

I just looked and it appears the Rays and Rockies 40 man rosters are full, and neither of their players have been added.
Cubs catcher Wilson Contreras isn't on their 40 man. He played and hit very well at AA this season. He OPSed 891.
There are a lot of other interesting names. According to the article I linked above, 155 players on MLB Pipepline Top 30 lists for each team are eligeable for the Rule 5 draft. Yes, I know, it's MLB Pipeline, but it's the best list I've got.

Keith Law said today, in a trade with the Dodgers, that Jose DeLeon and Joc Pederson probably wouldn't be enough for Miller, but that it would be a good offer.
Also said it would be 2 years before Albies is ready.
Says Braves overvalued Olivera in Dodgers trade and undervalued Simmons in Angels trade.
Says return for Aybar should be one mid-tier prospect.

I mean what kind of value do you put on the best defensive SS in the MLB that can't hit the broad side of a barn door?

Sorry, he said that they undervalued his offensive progression. I guess he thinks that his bat will at least improve as much as his defense regresses as he ages.
Edit: Article from Rosenthal saying that the Braves are pursuing relievers Darren O'Day (Righty) and Matt Thornton (Lefty). Said an official from another team believes we might get O'Day, who's looking for 4/$28-$36. Said the Dodgers are another team after him.

Not a fan at all of pursuing O'Day.

I agree. Especially if we're talking about a bidding war with the Doder$.
It doesn't make sense to sign a reliever like that when it looks like we might not compete until 2018 now.

Only thing I can think of is the Front Office wanting to make it look like we're trying to be more competitive next year.

This would be Nick Markakis all over again. Don't half arse rebuild and half arse contend. If we are rebuilding, lets fricking rebuild. We have no business spending money on a late inning guy right now.

We're just in an shitty situation. Schuerholtz screwed us with his "never again" remark. He put the front office in an impossible situation.
On the one hand, the team needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, espcially at this point. That means sucking for a few years.
On the other hand, we're building and moving into a new stadium. We need the team to be competitive so people will want to go to games.
So now Coppy can't finish the rebuild how he wanted/needed to. He's stuck in a limbo of "rebuild, but don't rebuild the easy and proven way of tanking."

I hope coppy grows a set of balls and says frick the fans.
Day is a luxury we don't need. If you are signing him, what are you saying about the CK trade?

Theory on Braves' pursuit of O'Day: It's a way to use avail $$ to acquire more prospects later. Sign good player w/ movable contract. Reach?

Sorry, long post.
This whole "rebuild" has just been weird. Starting with the Markakis signing, to not trading guys like Maybin and AJP at the deadline, now to not selling everything we can and talking about signing a closer.
It stinks to me of people in the organization being on different pages of what we need to do. I feel like Coppy probably wants to sell everything and do a complete rebuild, but he's being told by people higher up, like Scherholtz, that the Braves can never be that bad again, so start making them better next year or you're fired.
That's a very bad situation for the organization to be in.
You're saying that we're further along in the rebuild than we thought we would be in one year, which we aren't. That trade also got BJ off our payroll though, so that probably had a lot to do with it.
Trying to come up with some kind of plan to be better:
Thinking about this, if we're talking about really being more competitive in 2016, have the Dodgers take Swisher back in the trade. They can easily eat that contract. They had $85 million in dead money by the end of last season.
That frees up $15 million for us to go get a mid-tier starting pitcher off the free agent market. Then, maybe we can sign another SP on a "make good" contract for one year. That takes 2 SP off the FA market and makes the trade market that much more valuable.
That gets us one good SP, one crappy SP who might regain value (or can just fill a spot until one of the younger guys is ready for a shot), and, most importantly, makes Julio that much more valuable on the trade market. We could then trade him, maybe at the deadline, hopefully for another offensive piece or two.
I don't know if this even makes sense, but right now we look like a 100 loss team.

I'd say so, especially if we're in a bidding war with the Dodgers. All that does is drive his price up and make him less attractive.
