No nutsack to bail him out this time.

Still amazing how awesome that inning was.

Dude gave his arm and career for that world championship.

He’ll always be a Braves legend.

So Olson and Allen but no Harris?

All three deserved to be at least finalists.

Dodgers' Danny Lehmann Reportedly 'Strengthened' Candidacy for Braves Manager Job

LINK

quote:

As the Los Angeles Dodgers prepare to play in their second consecutive World Series, bench coach Danny Lehmann appears to be moving up the rankings to become the next manager of the Atlanta Braves.

Per MLB.com's Mark Bowman, Lehmann's candidacy has "seemingly strengthened" in recent weeks.

This is arguably the most desirable managerial opening in MLB right now. Spencer Strider, Ronald Acuña Jr., Austin Riley, Matt Olson, Spencer Schwellenbach, Drake Baldwin, Ozzie Albies and Michael Harris II are all under contract through at least the 2027 season.

Bowman noted the list of potential Braves' candidates has been dwindling recently, with David Ross, Mark DeRosa and John Gibbons not really considered strong options despite previously being mentioned as possibilities.

Lehmann has connections to Atlanta's front office, particularly general manager Alex Anthopolous, that make him stand out. The 40-year-old began his coaching career as a video scout with the Dodgers in 2016 when Anthopolous was their vice president of baseball operations.

Shocker that you linked a Bleacher Report article that just aggregated a "musings" column from Bowman.

You can't even digest media correctly.

What if he is actually an executive for a company that sells computer mice like Logitech, and he's only posting so many downvotable posts so that he sells more mice because he gives ours more wear and tear from having to downvote? 4D chess.

Freeman going into the HOF as a Dodger for sure after last night's walk-off. Matt Clark just going to the HOF as an attendee? AA going to the HOF as what? Good job AA. Jorge Soler TYFYS in 21

From the second the final out occurred in the 2021 NLCS, the Dodgers have done anything and everything to build a dynasty while the Braves got complacent and let their potential dynasty get dismantled.

It's almost like one team has an ownership group that's willing to spend whatever it takes and the other team is a publicly traded company and has to maximize shareholder value...
