Leaderboard making it look like the euro Ryder cup team is kicking our arse. We need Bryson out there

Rory back to his old ways of playing himself out day 1

He shot a 72 in R1 when he won here in 2021. Winning score will be much lower than -10 though

Why is it always the PGA that ends up with odd leader boards the first few days?
Makes sense at the Open where we don't have eyes all year on most of the field. But it's always the PGA where I'm asking "who the heck are these guys?"

Stephen Jaeger and Bobby Mac both have PGA wins in the last 365 or so days

I’d imagine he’s asking about guys like Ryan Gerard, Ryan Fox, Alex Smalley, etc

Ryan Gerrard, Ryan Fox, Alex Smalley, Nico Echeverria, Ryo Hisatsune
I've heard the names and I'm sure these guys have logged wins at some point, but you have to follow the tour closely to know anything about them more than their names.

Can’t wait for the 65 on Sunday for an uncompetitive 7th. Back to the Rory we watched for the last 11 years

Sam Burns started -3 thru 6… 5 bogeys since then. Needs this birdie on 7
