Whose idea was it to make one of the morning feature groups couples, niemann, and Li, instead of Spieth? Geniuses. May get a little coverage on the latter part of his back 9 with amen corner and 15/16

Yep, and as I said yesterday, he needs to stop trying to "hit a shot" every single shot. I get it there are times that you have to, but I don't know if I've seen Tiger hit his natural shot in years. Everything has to be some controlled shot. just pick your landing zone and distance, set up for your natural shot and ball movement, and focus on your distance and spin control.
It will never happen I know.

Phil's drive on #2 was 292 yards.
For reference, Tiger drove it 351 and Rory drove it 353 there yesterday.
Point being, it's impressive how well Phil scores without the distance off the tee that others have. Obviously his mid and short game is elite.
