I’d go with Denny McCarthy, but Burns is very very good.

Golf announcers inability to understand what the projected cut is never ceases to amaze me.

In Rahm’s featured group, the announcer said the cut “probably” moves to +6 by the end of the day.

DataGolf has +5 at a 0% chance, +6 at 48%, +7 at 43%, and +8 at 9%

Also, Rahm might kill someone

I’m a big fan

But does he not leave a lot to be desired when it comes to closing out big tournies or keeping his level of play in them?

Didn’t putt very well in the playoff last week either.

Not really, hes 2-2 in playoffs and has a 1 stroke win. Converting at a rate higher than that is like top 5 level shite. He’s a certified really good Tour pro.

Two players in the history of the game have always seemed to hit the big shot every time they needed it. And that’s why the have 33 Majors between them

How many shots back do y'all think is still in play for a guy to have a chance to win this weekend? None of the guys at the top of the leaderboard seem like they are going to run away with it. You have to assume they are going to drop some shots here and there.

I also don't think any of the chasers is going to go super low. 65 seems to about as low of a score that's possible.

I am thinking 6 shots back is about as far back as you can be with a realistic shot to win.

Yeah about that

Rahm and Scheffler might be exceptions

3 over is squarely in it. 4 over probably in it as well. Anybody who thinks they can get to even par over the weekend should think they have a really good chance to win. That may ultimately be a little short, but that should be the goal of the 4 and 5 overs
