Has anyone ever gotten more mileage out of one round of golf than Johnny Miller at Oakmont? I’ve heard about this fricking round my whole life and even more so this week. He even gave a press conference where he calls out Bryson.
Dude had an amazing round and apparently that gives him license to be a curmudgeon and a-hole for the next 60 years.

We got lucky yesterday with the band of heavy rain staying north of the course much of the day.
Today there is widespread showers and storms popping up to the south and drifting northwards. Hopefully we get lucky today as well.

Miller also won The Open in 1976 beating Nicklaus and a 19 year old Seve Ballesteros and won 9 PGA tournaments and player of the year in 1974. He wasn't a one trick pony.
