If there are no withdrawals, the PGA Championship will include every player in the top-100 on the world ranking, something which has never happened at a major championship before.

Don't know why they moved the PGA Championship to May. There's way more sports competition this time of year with the NBA Conference Finals, Stanley Cup Conference Finals, FA Cup Final, and Preakness Stakes. It's going to get lost in the shuffle unless the tournament turns out to be really great or Tiger is in contention.

I think they feel like people lose interest in it at the end of the season and it makes sense to put it here since the time gap between the Masters and US Open is so long. Olympics may have something to do with it, too.

It opens them up to locations they couldn't go in August because how unbearably hot it was.

Also solves the every 4 year Olympic problem and gives the tour a favor to move up the playoffs

The PGA is now the second major of the year and the hype is even less than it used to be IMO

Wasn't that the point of TPC though? To give golf fans a big tournament to watch between the Masters and US Open?

The crowds up there are going to be insane. They will be 100% Team Tiger. It’s going to be a spectacle.

Meh. I played Bethpage Black several times on WGT and it's not that tough TBH.

You probably couldn't break 100 on the actual course.

Easily baw. The course isn’t that difficult for someone who actually plays golf frequently and doesn’t just watch it on tv. Won’t be putting up professional scores but breaking 100, come on man.
