No one has been able to explain who asked for this?
Isn’t it just a payday for these golfers to help keep them from all joining LIV?

Xander not giving a shite and Fitzpatrick complaining about the launch monitor killed any real excitement for me, although I enjoyed it enough.

The other team vs an oddly motivated Tiger/Max group would probably be loads of fun.

We’ll see.

I thought it was fun enough and if it brings any new fans to the game then I'm all for it and golf probably needs to do everything they can to bring in New fans.

Like I said, my 8 year old even watched for a bit. I've been trying to get him interested in golf a little bit at a time. Only Top Golf really interests him so far, though he likes driving the car when I take him to the course. So if this gets him a little more interested then he just might become a golf fan for life.

Like someone else said, to a hard core fan, this probably won't be their thing. But to generate new interest, I think it could work. And I'll be tuning in each week to hopefully get my son more interested in golf.

For anyone not wanting to sit around and listen to filler. You can also watch it on ESPN+ after it airs and fast forward through the boring parts

I would almost argue the opposite, I think the only people that are going to enjoy this are people that already really like golf.

I hope it gets your kid into, that'd be awesome. But the only people who are really going to care to watch a bad broadcast, loud music, bad announcers, cheesy introductions, inaudible boring golfers, all while playing on a simulator... is going to be guys who really like watching golf.

I mentioned it on the golf board but part of the problem too is that most of these guys just aren't that interesting/entertaining. People are wanting this to be fun with banter and smack talk back and forth but there's a reason most of these guys don't even have a big social media/YouTube presence is because they aren't that entertaining. They don't need to be, they are the best golfers in the world. With this you're throwing them into a situation that they aren't going to thrive in.

Hell even Tiger is pretty boring. You listen to him talk golf and you see some of his lessons and they are fantastic, but then you see the odd moments where he's trying to be funny and it's just cringeworthy most of the time.

I'll give it another shot because the broadcast was the worst part to me but I think that could be improved upon. They seriously need to turn down the music simply because of the interference is causes with the announcers and player interaction.
