When we went to Waco my daughter’s first year at Baylor we passed through Mart on a Friday afternoon. It looked like something out of Friday Night Lights; flags lining the streets and every business had Go Panthers on the windows. Little town with plenty of school pride.

When I was growing up people made a big deal out of Permian, Midland Lee, Plano, Judson… and then later Southlake and Allen and how ‘dominant’ they are.
But Aledo just cruised to its 12th title in the last 25 years. Bar far the state record. Really Incredible even in the split playoffs era.

South Oak Cliff looks like a college football team. They've got 5 players 300 lbs or heavier including a 6'5" 340 lb sophomore DL. PNG is battling though
