I actually think part of the problem for Iowa St is they are hitting the deck literally every other play. They’re making the refs make judgment calls on when they’re flopping or not.

Even though they got down quick in the second half they haven't given up. The shots are not falling like the first half but they are still grinding and hustling every play.

Holtmann is an average coach. He’s made numerous player decisions this year that leave you scratching your head. Where’s Ahrens at? He’s a 3 point sharp shooter...sitting the bench.

Carolina took 20 more shots than Iona. They worked hard, but they were so outmatched physically. Everyone knew they’d need to shoot in the second half like they did in the first, and they couldn’t.
