I think that’s MV’s specialty. Maybe we can combine forces.

I’ll give it a shot but it would be better to let everyone play a match first to avoid what happened with Cilic, Stan, Tsonga, Khachanov today.

You can go big with underdogs Felix and Struff for a 13/1 payout.

Or go the "safe" route...

Or you can take out Medvedev and it pays a little better than even money.

My worry is that Tsitsipas, Thiem, and Nishi haven't played yet and they're all facing guys who won a match already.

Wow, you would figure Schwartz would rout him on clay. Maybe Diego was tired from Edmund. Honestly, betting on anything other than a major is kind of ridic. At least if I lose on a major match, a guy usually fights to the death (or is just insane fatigued so he can't fight). There is so much frickery in every other level of tournament that I can't imagine throwing money away on some guy who has decided he will punt and fight hard next week or something.

Glanced at the draw, Kohli is just amazing. Looks like he took Novak to the limit again.

Thiem is going to be a force to be reckoned with this clay season.

Precisely why I prefer to wait until at least the 2nd round. There's still a little of that nonsense, but at least you know that everyone involved has won a match and now there's bigger money at stake. And in this case, nobody currently involved in a Masters will be looking ahead to Barcelona or Budapest.

Coric at -220 is calling my name. I have to decide if it's free money or just a decent bet.

Some Kei info...

Kei Nishikori said "I couldn't have enough practice for the last few days because I was not feeling good, so couldn't get a good feel (on my tennis)." According to several sources, Kei didn't practice Sunday or Monday, and wrapped up practice quite early on Tuesday.

Standard operating procedure for me. If I bet the first round of a tournament, it's only because my gambling addiction got the best of me. As a matter of course, I avoid it.
